Admission of Foreign Students
CUET invites applications from international students who wish to pursue undergraduate and postgraduate studies. Candidates must meet the admission criteria equivalent to the local requirements and demonstrate proficiency in English through TOEFL, IELTS, or similar tests. Applications can be submitted online with the necessary academic documents, including transcripts, certificates, and a copy of the passport. After receiving an admission letter, students can apply for a student visa. CUET also offers on-campus accommodation and orientation services to help foreign students adjust to university life.

Admission Procedure
Chittagong University of Engineering and Technology (CUET), Khulna University of Engineering and Technology (KUET) and Rajshahi University of Engineering and Technology (RUET) organize a combined admission test for students admission in the various departments offering the Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in respective Engineering field of study, Bachelor of Urban and Regional Planning (BURP) and Bachelor of Architecture (B. Arch) degrees under different faculties on Sunday 03 March 2024 at 10:00 am for the academic year 2023-2024 for the prescribed seats as mentioned in Section 2 in three centers (CUET, KUET and RUET) with the same question paper.
- The examination center will be decided according to the grade points and marks obtained by the candidate in the four subjects, namely Mathematics, Science, Chemistry and English in Higher Secondary or equivalent examination and the candidate's preference.
- The university and the department for admission will be determined according to the merit rank obtained in the admission test by the candidate and his/her preference.

Admission Procedure
- Applications for admission to the above courses shall be invited through regular means of advertisement and shall be received through prescribed application form.
- There shall be an admission Committee in each department as constituted by the respective PGAC. The admission committee will scrutinize the applications.
- The eligible applicants may be required to appear at a written and/or oral test conducted by the admission committee. The committee, on the basis of the admission test result, will approve a list of prospective postgraduate students for admission into the postgraduate program of the concerned department.
- Every selected candidate for the postgraduate program shall have to get himself/herself admitted/registered to the University within the prescribed time limit on payment of prescribed fees and other dues.
- Eligibility for the admission of foreign students in the aforementioned postgraduate programs shall be examined by the equivalence committee.
- On the recommendation of the appropriate PGAC, the rules for admission into postgraduate courses of the University may be amended from time to time by the Academic council through CASR.
