The Center for Industrial Problems Research (CIPR) is formed as a research center at Chittagong University of Engineering and Technology according to the decision granted at the 97th meeting of Academic Council held on 06-04-2016. The institute is established first time in the country with a view to connect industries with faculty, postdocs and graduate students who have expertise in industrial case-studies. The center aims to interact between industry and academia in such a way that academics learn about interesting potential research problems and find application for their existing tools. While Industries get access to some of the most experienced researchers and problem-solvers on the country.
The Center for Industrial Problems Research (CIPR) will work as a Center of Excellence committed to conduct researches in the field of Industrial Problems and Safety to the highest level. This Center will take initiatives to establish internal and external collaboration with relevant Institutes/ Centers in home and abroad.
